Gabriel Paradis is a self-taught inventor from Canada who became obsessed with a fundamental inefficiency in modern building: we heat air, which escapes. Our ancestors heated mass — stone, earth, water — which holds heat for hours or days.

After years of research, experimentation, and construction, Gabriel developed the Renewal Thermal Energy system — a method of storing thermal energy underground and retrieving it on demand. The first build was his own home. It worked beyond expectations.

Since then, Gabriel has replicated and refined the system over 20 times across different climates, house types, and configurations. Each build taught him something new. That knowledge is now captured in his four books — available to homeowners and contractors worldwide.
